Regenerating environment
We run a thriving native plant nursery and grow eco-sourced plants for restoration projects throughout Tāmaki Makaurau.
From a seed collected locally, every plant is handled about 8 times before planted.
Our restoration projects include activities, such as planting trees, weeding, trapping pests and monitoring native wildlife and plant species.
Sustainable living
The Zero Waste Hub Northcote offers advice and support to households on their zero waste journey.
The two community composting hubs turn local kitchen scraps into living compost.
Our teaching gardens are a place where the local community can come together and learn to grow food for their whānau.
Ongoing work in reversing the climate crisis
We work with hundreds of volunteers, partners and supporters to affect a positive behaviour change in our communities towards a sustainable future for all.
The education projects we offer teach school groups and the community about conservation and sustainability.
