Event details
Carpooling has long been promoted as a solution to congestion and emissions, yet it has never truly succeeded at scale. Why not?
This talk explores the key reasons carpooling has struggled to take off, from trust and safety challenges to issues with design and incentive structures.
The session will also introduce Carpoolin, a New Zealand–built platform created for everyday commuting. You’ll learn about the design choices, safety features and business model that make it different — and why it’s especially useful for people travelling on Onewa and other roads who want a faster, smoother trip using the T2 and T3 lanes.
The event will conclude with an open Q&A with the audience.
Booking for this event is essential.
