Event details

So you’ve decided to join us on our nocturnal adventure in Eskdale Reserve? Well you’re in for a treat, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Eskdale Reserve is one of the largest urban forest areas in Auckland with 74 green hectares and is home to an impressive diversity of native species, including Titiwai (glow worms). It also boasts podocarp/ broadleaf forest, kauri pods, streams, swamp area and coastal edges, making it a Significnt Ecological Area. The regeneration of this special place has been the focus of Kaipātiki Project since 1998 and we are still hosting community activities there to strengthen community relationships with each other and with our taiao (natural environment). Thanks to the NZ National Commission for UNESCO, we have yet another opportunity to share this incredible space with you, our community.

If you haven’t already, why not invite some friends or family to enjoy the evening with?
