Eskdale Wai Care Day – 22 April

Led by an expert ecologist each week, our group of regular volunteers help to make sure that the native flora and fauna in this unique reserve are healthy and protected. This week for Earth Day, we’ll be taking a trip down to the Eskdale stream, for a special day focusing on the life-source of the forest, the wai /the water!

All of our volunteering and restoration events are hands on and involve experiential learning! Learn how to use professional water testing equipment from Wai Care this Earth Day, and make yourself a valuable contributor to ecosystem regeneration and environmental care in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Learn, make friends, care for the earth, and explore nature.

Bring along your gloves (if you have), water bottle, and closed-toe footwear. We will be following all appropriate Health & Safety measures to ensure everyone’s safety.
