Event details
We warmly invite you to join a series of hui to help co-design the future of Engine Testing Bay.
Purpose: Bring the community together to co-create a project plan that lays a strong foundation for locally led regeneration, supporting the wellbeing of our environment, our community and future generations.
This is a space for genuine collaboration, where every voice matters and everyone plays a role in shaping the shared vision.
We would like to acknowledge our first hui in November 2024, held in collaboration with Te Kawerau ā Maki and Te Ohu o Onekiritea, focused on whakawhanaungatanga — building relationships and sharing aspirations for the site.
We are also grateful to Te Ohu o Onekiritea for their ongoing support and are pleased to introduce Venus Rangi as our facilitator. Venus brings deep experience across community, education, transport, sport and housing sectors — and we’re thrilled to have her guiding our next steps.

- Monday, 4 August 2025, 5pm – 8pm, Bell Room
