Event details

Thank you for joining us, Kaipātiki Project and Forest & Bird, to plant trees at Tuff Crater this season.

Planting native trees has an incredible impact on our natural and human environments. Native trees clean the air of pollutants and sequester CO2 – slowing climate change, they create habitat for native wildlife, they lower city temperatures, they offer calming, stress-relieving spaces for people, and they even reduce extreme flood impacts in the city! Remember to tell your friends and family of the amazing impact you will be having by planting trees this year, and encourage them to come along.

This is one of three planting days in Northcote this season, and one of many hosted by Kaipātiki Project on the North Shore, so be sure to check out our What’s On page to register for more climate-action.

We can’t wait to see you there!
